Last week, Mr. Sabuhi Mubarizoğlu Abbasov, President of the Azerbaijan-Slavic Youth Union, visited World Peace University.
Mr. Sabuhi Mubarizoğlu Abbasov was welcomed by Acting Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Behiye Çavuşoğlu at her office.
Abbasov expressed his pleasure in visiting World Peace University, mentioning that he was in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to deliver a seminar on “National-Cultural Heritage in Karabakh.” He stated that he was honored and happy to witness the continuous development of World Peace University and noted that the university and the Azerbaijan-Slavic Youth Union would collaborate in the future.
Acting Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Behiye Çavuşoğlu expressed her satisfaction with the strengthening of friendship ties with Azerbaijan in recent years. She provided information to Mr. Abbasov about the special scholarship opportunities that World Peace University has prepared for the students from Azerbaijan. She highlighted the full scholarships available for the families and children of Karabakh martyrs, stating that the university is pleased to offer this support to the families of martyrs.
