On September 16, 2024, the World Peace University held the launch event for its Persian Language Courses, aiming at promoting language learning and enhancing cultural interaction. This initiative is organized in collaboration with Mr. Seyit Kasım Nazimi, the Cultural Attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkey, and the Persian Language Education Center (FÖMER). The courses, which will offer students the opportunity to explore the Persian language and culture were introduced in an event.
The launch event took place in the Mehmet Altınbaş Conference Hall at Lefkoşa Turkish High School. During the event, the University Rector emphasized the significance of the Persian language, its cultural depth, and the opportunities it provides to students. Mr. Naji Housseindoust Seyedabbas, representing FÖMER, informed attendees about the innovative teaching methods and rich content the courses offer in relation to the Persian language.
The courses will be organized in various groups, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, allowing participants not only to learn the language but also to gain in-depth knowledge about Persian literature and culture.
