World Peace University visited the Nicosia center of Yunus Emre Institute, which continues its activities to promote Turkish culture and art, as well as teaching Turkish to foreigners, and evaluated cooperation opportunities.

The visit aimed to strengthen the cultural and academic relations between the two institutions. İpek Turan, the university’s Director of International Relations and Protocol, provided information to the institute officials about the university’s establishment and development process. Turan emphasized the university’s willingness to develop joint projects with the Institute in areas such as Turkish language and literature and cultural studies.

Yunus Emre Institute Director Abdullah Aktaş shared insights about the Institute’s Turkish language teaching activities and cultural promotion efforts, carried out by the Institute in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Aktaş highlighted various activities including Turkish language courses, artistic events, and cultural programs.

Officials from both institutions exchanged ideas about potential future collaborations. This visit is expected to strengthen the ties between the two organizations and pave the way for new projects.
