A: Please use the “Forgot Password” option on the application login page to reset your access details.
Q: Does ALCU charge an application or evaluation fee?
A: No, ALCU does not charge any fee for submitting an application. Tuition fees become clear after the admission is issued, based on the scholarship or offer provided to the student.

Q: What paperwork is needed to apply for an undergraduate program?
A: Undergraduate applicants are required to submit:
- Higher/Secondary Certificate or equivalents (e.g., O/A’Level, WAEC/NECO)
- Completed online application form
- Proof of English proficiency (if available)
- Copy of passport
Q: What documents are required for master’s or PhD programs?
A: Postgraduate applicants should provide:
- Bachelor’s diploma and transcript for master’s programs
- Bachelor’s and master’s diploma and transcripts for PhD programs

A: After payment confirmation, students will receive an official Receipt of Payment (ROP) together with their final Acceptance Letter (AL).
4. Application Review & Results
Q: How can I track the progress of my application?
A: You may follow up through your assigned agent or directly with the Admissions Office using your registered contact details.
Q: How long does the evaluation process usually take?
A: Application evaluations take up to a maximum of 2 working days, provided all required documents are submitted correctly.
Q: How will I be informed if my application is successful?
A: Successful applicants will be notified either by their agent or directly by ALCU, via WhatsApp or email.
Q: Will ALCU send me a physical acceptance letter?
A: Acceptance letters are issued electronically and can be printed for official or visa-related purposes.
5. Acceptance, Visa & Arrival

A: Once payment is confirmed, your final Acceptance Letter and Receipt of Payment will be issued.
Q: When should I apply for my student visa?
A: Students should begin their visa process after receiving the final acceptance documents, following the instructions of the relevant embassy.
Q: Is a residence permit required for international students?
A: Yes. All international students are required to obtain a valid student residence permit after arrival.
Q: Can ALCU assist with arrival arrangements?
A: Yes. Arrival and onboarding support are coordinated through the Admissions Office or the student’s agent.
6. Accommodation
Q: How do I secure on-campus housing?
A: Accommodation arrangements should be confirmed with your agent or directly with ALCU after your payment is completed.

Q: Are dormitory fees included in my tuition?
A: No. Accommodation fees are not included in tuition fees.
