About Us

ALCU Career Development Application and Research Center was established as an academic and practice-oriented center to plan, support, and monitor our students’ career journeys from their very first day at university through post-graduation.

Our Center aims to strengthen the link between education and employment by serving as a bridge among students, alumni, academics, and the business world. Through our graduate tracking system, we also contribute to the continuous improvement of our university’s educational quality.

In addition to providing career counseling services, the Center conducts research activities to analyze labor market expectations and provides data support for the university’s strategic planning.

Our Events

Mazher Zheer, CEO of Creditwest Bank, shared his journey at the Career Summit, discussing how he began his professional life, his contributions to Creditwest, and his career achievements. Zheer highlighted the challenges he faced and the experiences he gained along the way, inspiring young participants. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions about Zheer’s visionary approach and leadership examples.

Özdemir Tokel met with students to deliver a seminar on corporate communication and career development. As a political communication expert, Tokel emphasized the strategic importance of communication in today’s business world and highlighted the critical role of effective communication skills in career planning.

During his speech, Tokel stated that corporate communication is not limited to internal organizational processes but also includes establishing transparent, accurate, and sustainable communication with the public. He underlined that in an era of rapid digitalization, the effective use of social media and new communication tools plays a decisive role in career advancement.

Sharing insights from his own career journey, Tokel advised students on the importance of discipline, continuous learning, and self-improvement. He noted that patience, determination, and the use of the right communication strategies are key factors in achieving professional success.

In the interactive session, students had the opportunity to ask questions about career planning, the media industry, and opportunities in the field of communication, benefiting from Tokel’s experience and expertise.

At the end of the seminar, students expressed that meeting an expert in the field was highly inspiring and that such events significantly contribute to shaping their career goals.

Levent Bayram, Deputy General Manager responsible for Telsim’s Network, shared the latest developments in technology and communications with students at the Career Summit. Bayram highlighted the impact of 4.5G and 5G technologies on the communication sector, the opportunities they present, and future trends. Offering valuable advice for young people to succeed in their careers, he emphasized the importance of closely following innovations in communication technologies. Students drew inspiration from his experiences and had the opportunity to ask him questions directly.

Aziz Korkmaz, Digital Marketing Director at Merit International Hotels, met with students at the Career Summit to discuss career opportunities in the digital age and provided examples of how artificial intelligence can be effectively applied in the business environment. Korkmaz also offered valuable guidance on how students can strategically manage digital transformation in their careers.

He elaborated on the impact of digital marketing and technology trends on the industry, the use of digital tools for personal and professional development, and the role of artificial intelligence in the workplace. Students drew inspiration from his insights and had the opportunity to develop their own digital strategies for career advancement.
