Vision and Mission

Our Vision
We are conscious of the importance of science based on the fifth generation university philosophy. The university intends to achieve this with its advanced educational and technological infrastructure. Our University aims to provide a peaceful education environment to bring high quality research and knowledge into our, country, region and the world by emphasizing scientific creativity, innovation and social responsibility.

Our Mission
*WPU aims to have students who make research, ask questions, respect universal values and are at peace with themselves, their university, their country, and the world.
*WPU supports multiculturalism, diversity and acts glocally.
*WPU provides creation, sharing, structuring, using and auditiding of knowledge both on and off campus.

*Thanks to its various means to produce science and fully-equipped graduates, WPU contributes to the economic, social, political, cultural and intellectual development of the country and the region.

World Peace University is established under the auspices of Altınbaş Holding. It is a young, dynamic and proactive University. Its academic staff have solid experience in research and teaching. It represents the fifth generation University philosophy. It aims to educate its students on a smart campus equipped with superior technological infrastructure. Quality in education is the priority of the World Peace University and it achieves this by balancing research and teaching.

Logo
The logo has the pigeon symbol which represents peace in the world. Each feather of the pigeon’s wings symbolizes one of the WPU’s principles. The nine-pointed star represents the pigeon’s head, and each of the points of the star symbolizes one of the nine principles of the fifth-generation university philosophy. The green line in the logo represents environmental consciousness, sustainability, and our green island Cyprus.
