A Meaningful Visit from Altınbaş Cyprus University to Mr. Devlet Bahçeli
The Rector of Altınbaş Cyprus University, Prof. Dr. Behiye Çavuşoğlu, together with the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Sofu Altınbaş, Vice Chairmen of the Board of Trustees Mehmet Hadi Tunç and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Maşlakcı, paid a courtesy visit to the Leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, at his office.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the development of higher education in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, the preservation and transfer of national values to future generations, and the strong cooperation maintained with the Republic of Türkiye.
It was emphasized that Altınbaş Cyprus University is an important higher education institution contributing to the TRNC through its scientific production, modern educational approach, and vision rooted in national and cultural values.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of raising younger generations with national awareness, social responsibility, and a strong vision for the future.
At the end of the visit, the university delegation presented Mr. Devlet Bahçeli with a meaningful gift symbolizing the cultural heritage of the Turkish Cypriot people. The visit, held in a sincere atmosphere, concluded with a commemorative photograph.
