Altınbaş Cyprus University, Head of the International Hospitality and Tourism Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Şenyücel, successfully presented her paper titled “Digital Energy Transparency in TRNC Tourism: Consumer Awareness and Green Choices” at “The 7th Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents,” held in Antalya between April 29 and May 2.
The study examines the effects of digital energy transparency on consumer awareness and environmentally friendly choice behaviors in the tourism sector of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from a cross-cultural perspective. It provides significant insights into sustainable tourism practices and increasing environmental awareness.
The conference, attended by academics from many countries, was highly productive in terms of scientific knowledge exchange, discussion of current research topics, and the development of international academic collaborations.
