On November 20, 2025, Altınbaş Cyprus University organized an in-service training program titled “Life-Saving Knowledge: Basic Life Support (BLS)”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Şahin Ahmedov. The training attracted strong interest from university staff and highlighted the importance of correct and timely intervention in emergency health situations encountered in daily life.
The program covered Basic Life Support practices for critical conditions such as sudden cardiac arrest, loss of consciousness, airway obstruction, and fainting. Participants were provided with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, including rapid assessment of emergencies, correct intervention sequence, and effective BLS techniques.
The training aimed to enable individuals to respond calmly, consciously, and effectively in emergency situations and was found to be highly informative and beneficial by the participants.
